The Neil P. At Burnett Park To Be Fort Worth’s
First Boutique Condominium Development
FORT WORTH, TX. November 30, 2004 –– Developers converting
the historic downtown landmark Neil P. Anderson Building, here, to residential condominiums
have named the project The Neil P. at Burnett Park and launched The Insiders Circle prospect
program it was announced today by Matt Herring, principal of Amicus Interests, LLC.
According to Herring, the new name was created to accentuate the building’s prime location
at 411 West Seventh Street adjacent to Burnett Park and complement the conceptual vision of
a “boutique” condominium.
“ Our focus group research revealed a demand and appreciation for downtown residences
with the look and feel similar to a Park Avenue New York experience, and just steps from shopping,
dining and entertainment options,” said Herring. “The name, the positioning and
the design of The Neil P. at Burnett Park are direct results of input gathered from prospective
homeowners,” he said.
The development’s boutique condominium concept is characterized by its intimate size
(approximately 60 residences), park-side location, historical heritage, architectural and design
features, amenities and attention to detail.
Project interior designer Brenda Stephenson, whose portfolio includes work for such famous
landmarks as the five-star Broadmoor Hotel, The Breakers Resort and Ritz-Carlton Huntington
Hotel, describes the feel as “home couture, a customized residence that provides a gracious
experience similar to one’s favorite hotel. The same person who seeks out a boutique
hotel when traveling will be attracted to the Neil P. at Burnett Park,” said Stephenson.
The focus group research, which was conducted in September in Fort Worth, as well as an influx
of prospect inquiries about the development has lead to the formation of The Insiders Circle.
The Insiders Circle offers invitations to advance preview events to learn more about pre-construction
pricing, designs and floor plans for The Neil P. at Burnett Park. Members of The Insiders Circle
may choose to sign a letter of interest and gain priority registration even before the condominium
development progresses into the construction phase.
Interested persons may contact The Neil P. at Burnett sales office at 817.698.0411 or go
to www.theneilp.com for more information.
Currently, architectural plans are being finalized for submission to the City of Fort Worth’s
construction permit department. Architecture and construction details will be announced upon
approval from the City.
In August, the Neil P. Anderson Building was purchased by local development company Amicus
Interests, LLC from a Dallas investment unit of Trammell Crow Company. The developers plan
to restore the 83-year-old, historic office building and convert the property into approximately
60 luxury condominium homes. Corgan Associates is the project architect.
The Neil P. Anderson Building was originally constructed in 1921 as the headquarters of the
Neil P. Anderson Cotton Company. Designed by Fort Worth’s leading architect firm of that
time, Sanguinett and Statts, the building is the gateway to the city’s central business
district and has unique architectural features such as its signature, gently-curving corner
bound by Seventh and Lamar Streets. In 1978 the building was placed on the list of Texas Historic
Landmarks. |
